Low pressure system 1600 miles from Big Island

The Central Pacific Hurricane Center shows a large low pressure system located about 1600 miles east-southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii continues to produce a large area of disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. It’s still quite a ways out but enough of a threat to warrant attention.
