Arraignment today in attempted murder case



(KPUA) A Kau man will be arraigned today after a Grand Jury on Wednesday indicted him on several offenses in the May 10th stabbing near James Kealoha Beach Park in Keaukaha that critically wounded a 41 year old Hilo man. 46-year old Paul Gibson of Ocean View was indicted on second degree attempted murder, third degree assault, two counts of terroristic threatening, five firearms offenses and resisting an order to stop. Gibson was attending a previously scheduled court hearing when he was arrested on Thursday and is currently being held at the Hilo Police cellblock on $700,000 bail.
