(KPUA - Ken Hupp) A homeless man who resides in Pepeekeo has been arrested and charged with Monday’s attempted burglary of a Pepeekeo home.

Police were notified shortly before 8:00 a.m. Monday that a man was trying to force open the window of a neighboring home, but fled after discovering that he was being watched.

Officers arrested 54-year old Ralph Curtis Riviera shortly before 12:30 p.m. and charged him the following day with attempted first degree burglary.
