(Ken Hupp - KPUA) Police have arrested 10 individuals being sought in connection with a drug related burglary ring.
The suspects include 31-year old Joshua Watan of Kealakekua, who had been sought on various drug trafficking charges, along with theft and criminal trespassing, Curtis Hoku Kehahuna of Kamuela, who was wanted for kidnapping, assault, terroristic threatening, burglary and assorted drug charges, and Joseph Narzisi, who was already in custody, but has now been charged with forcing his way into a Kona man’s home, threatening and assaulting him and commandeering his vehicle.
The others were arrested on a variety of charges including drug trafficking, vehicle theft and hindering prosecution. Police are still searching for 24-year-old Joel Landsborough of Kailua-Kona, who is wanted on a $300 warrant for contempt of court. Lieutenant Sherry Bird said tips from the public played an important role in dismantling the burglary ring.
