Small, magnitude-3.8 quake strikes Big Island



VOLCANO, Hawaii (AP) — A small earthquake has struck the east coast of the Big Island of Hawaii but no damages or injuries were reported. 
 
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.8 quake struck about 1:56 p.m. Sunday. It hit at a depth of 5 ½ miles and was centered about 10 miles south of Volcano and 12 miles southwest of Fern Forest. a small earthquake struck on the east coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. 
 
A dispatcher with Hawaii Police Department said were no reports of damage or injury.
