(Ken Hupp-KPUA) A 48-year-old Hawaiian Ocean View Estates man was arrested and charged with several offenses after a firearm discharged shortly before 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning, December
13, in the Hilo Industrial Area.
Police say witnesses directed them to a vehicle parked
on Maka`ala Street belonging to Allen Benjamin III, who was taken into custody and charged Thursday evening with reckless endangering, theft and various firearms offenses.
No one was injured in the incident.
