Man charged in Kona Stabbing



(KPUA) A 43-year old Big Island man has been charged with several offenses following a stabbing last Thursday evening that sent two Kailua-Kona men to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Michael Dalton of Kailua-Kona was arrested at the scene after police discovered the victims, ages 43 and 38, being treated for lacerations by Fire Rescue personnel at the intersection of Ali`i Drive and Kahakai Road across from the Coconut Grove shopping complex. 

Dalton was charged Saturday evening with kidnapping, first degree terroristic threatening, harassment and two counts of second degree assault.
