Hilo man charged with meth trafficking
(KPUA) A 45-year old Hilo man is facing several charges including meth trafficking. Vice officers executed a search warrant at his Waiakea Uka home shortly before 7:00 p.m.
Monday and recovered 84.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $17,500, associated drug paraphernalia and 30.6 grams of marijuana.
Police arrested Wesley Kailimai and took him to the Hilo cellblock, where he was charged on Tuesday with first-degree meth trafficking, second degree promotion of a detrimental drug, two counts of third degree promotion of a dangerous drug, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $301,000.
