Men arrested in Kona robbery

(KPUA) Two Kailua-Kona men have been arrested following a violent robbery that took place shortly before 2:00 a.m. Tuesday outside a restaurant in the 75-1000 block of Henry Street in Kailua. Police say two Kailua men, ages 23 and 25 were approached by an acquaintance who struck the 25-year-old with a blunt object, stole both their backpacks and fled in a black sedan driven by a second man.
Officers later located a car matching the suspects vehicle and arrested 43-year old Nohea Gene Heinckie. They later picked up 28 year old Randall Todd Chase and took him to the Kona Police cellblock, where both men are being held on suspicion of robbery.
