Robbery suspects sought

(KPUA) Police are hoping you can help them identify two local males featured in composite drawings who are suspects in the June 27 robbery and stabbing of a Kailua-Kona man they picked up while hitchhiking.

The 27-year old victim entered their dark Jeep Cherokee shortly before 2:30 a.m. at Palani Road and Henry Street and was taken to an access road to the Department of Water Supply pump station in Kalaoa where he was relieved of an undisclosed amount of cash and stabbed. The driver is 6-feet tall, 200 pounds, in his early 30s, while the passenger is heavy set, with long hair in a pony tail with several dark bands.

If you have any information about the case, call the Police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
