Yisa the Midday Diva

Yisa's new look as of Monday May 12th, 2008
B97-B93's Official "Mid-day Diva" can be heard each weekday from 10am to 3pm and Saturdays from noon til 6pm.
Join her each morning at 10:30 for the "Sweet Tooth Sugar Buzz", sponsored by Sweet Tooth Ice Cream in the Prince Kuhio Plaza.
She also hosts the "CLASSIC CAFE" during the lunch hour every weekday, sponsored by Dr. John Stover's Cosmetic Laser Centers of Hawaii, Mid Pacific Wheels and Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant. Yisa plays an hours worth of songs that follow a theme. (Ex: "Songs featuring British Groups", "Groups with members that are married", "Songs with cowbell") If you have an idea for a CC theme, feel free to Email Yisa with your suggestion.
Then at 2pm, it's the "BIKER SONG OF THE DAY", sponsored by Kona Coast Customs. Great songs about the freedom of rockin' down the highway on two wheels!
YISA's BIO By Yisa
I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and by the age of 3 went in search of bluer skies.
My family and I traveled from Philly to California in a white van we lovingly referred to as "Marshmallow." When we ran out of land, we hopped on a plane. We landed here in Hawaii and declared it home.
I grew up in Pahoa and graduated from Pahoa High School (GO DAGGERS!). I went on to graduate with Highest Honors from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communication.
I have been married for 6 1/2 years to my college sweetheart. We have two adorable sons, Alexander (12) and Aisaiah (5). When I am not spending time with my family or working at the radio station, I make time to sing in a few local bands. I enjoy singing everything from funk and disco to country music. I also run a mobile disco and photography company with my best friend.
Well, that sums me up in a few paragraphs! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me! And thanks for stopping by our website!!
Aloha, Yisa
