Merrie Monarch Week! The 2015 Merrie Monarch Hula Festival is an international Hula competition that happens right here in our own Hilo, Hawaii. The hula competitions begin later this week but there are plenty of other events and things to see in celebration of the hula.
The festival started with the Ho’olaule’a on Easter Sunday at the Civic Auditorium and will culminate with a parade through Hilo town and final evening competition on Saturday.
