The Department of Health reported Hawaii’s first Covid-19 related death. In a Monday evening release, state officials say the individual died on Friday, March 20th and was posthumously tested positive for Covid-19.
Officials said the individual suffered from multiple preexisting health conditions. They don’t believe the individual had traveled recently and said they are not certain how they contracted the virus.
