The United States leads the world at 92,932, surpassing China at 81,897 cases and Italy at 80,589. The numbers change constantly as new data comes in.

Louisiana is emerging as a COVID-19 hotspot, with the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebrations thought to have exacerbated the spread. CNN reports that clusters at 6 nursing homes in the state are being monitored.
Hawaii has 106 confirmed cases, and labs–mostly private, but also state– have run more than 4,900 tests.
