If you’re Kona side and think you should be tested for COVID-19, Ali’I Health is now doing screenings and testings every Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at Keauhou Shopping Center, on the side where Regal Cinemas is located, in front of the Kamehameha Schools office.
Individuals are encouraged to call in advance to have a “telehealth” screening with a medical professional, to see if you qualify, and expedite the process. Those with high possibility of exposure to COVID-19 – such as TSA and airport workers, healthcare workers, first responders, and especially those with recent travel are urged to call for screening regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms.
In addition, those who are concerned about having the typical symptoms such as fever, dry cough, loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath are also encouraged.
To set up a pre-screening appointment, call 808-747-8321, option 5 . If you do not go through the pre-screening, you may still come, Mondays and Thursdays from 8 til noon at Keauhou Shopping Center. The process will take a little longer without the advance tele-health screening.
