State adds 1 new COVID case on Maui

Hawaii State Department of Health’s noon report on Saturday, May 2:  one new case of COVID-19 in the state, on the island of Maui.  This is the second day in a row with only  a one-case addition.

Hawaii County is holding at 73 cumulative cases, with 60 released from isolation, so 13 active cases.

One case is a Lanai resident who’s exposure is on Maui Island and who will be remaining on Maui Island for the interim.
