Tuesday visitors arriving in Kona: 19, plus 2 intended residents

On Tuesday,  869 people arrived in Hawaii, including 38 who flew in to Kona.  The solo mainland flight into Kona on Tuesday brought 2 crew members, 2 people who said they were relocating to Hawaii, 15 returning residents, and 19 visitors.

The total number of visitors who flew into the state was 235, plus 46 people saying they are relocating to the state.

This data was collected from the Hawaii Department of Transportation’s (DOT) new Mandatory Travel Declaration Form and shows only flights that arrived on Tuesday from out of State.

Crew = flight crew members
Transit = people who are in transit to another location through Hawaii and aren’t leaving the airport
Military = military exempt personnel
Exempt = people who are exempt from the 14-day quarantine after receiving prior approval from the state
Relocate to Hawaii = people who are moving to Hawaii
Returning Resident = people who indicate on the DOT’s form that they’re returning residents
Visitor = people who are not in the above categories
