State has 16 new cases, including 1 on Big Island

The state has 16 new reported and confirmed COVID-19 cases today, bringing the state’s total COVID-19 case count to 835, with 686 released from isolation, or 149 cases the State Department of Health is monitoring.

Hawaii Island has one new case today, bringing the island’s cumulative total to 86, with 3 active cases.  Two people have required hospitalization, according to the State DOH.

O’ahu added 13 cases since yesterday, and two additional Hawaii residents who are out of state were diagnosed with COVID-19.
