State adds 17 cases–no new on Big Island

The state says it has added 17 cases of COVID-19 today, with 2 of the cases out of state but counted in Hawaii’s counts because of CDC guidelines.   It also removed one from O’ahu’s count.   Hawaii County’s cases stand at 86, and according to State Department of Health, 84 have been released from isolation, meaning it is still monitoring two.    This morning’s Hawaii County Civil Defense update said there are 3 active cases on the island.

The state’s total count is 866, with 17 deaths.  There have been no new deaths for nearly two months.
