The  State reported 109 cases on Wednesday and 47 cases on Tuesday and 28 cases on Monday.  Dr. Bruce Anderson of State Department of Health said at a press conference on Wednesday that more high case counts won’t be a surprise as the State Lab was shut down Sunday and Monday over concerns about Hurricane Douglas, and the lab is just now catching up.  He also said the Wednesday count included 23 juveniles.  He also said there is wide community spread, especially on O’ahu.

The death toll includes 4 people between 40 and 59, and 22 people 60 or older.
