COVID: world 27M, deaths 905K; US 6.3M cases, 191K deaths

The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard for Thursday, September 10, at 5:29 a.m.:

Worldwide cases:  27,925,613     Worldwide deaths: 905,089

U.S. cases:   6,370,081    U.S. deaths:  191,168

According to the Dashboard, the reported worldwide case report increased by 297,423 in the last 24 hours.  Deaths worldwide increased by more than 6,322.

According to the Johns Hopkins Dashboard, the United States has added 35,923 cases in the last 24 hours.  In that time,  the number of reported deaths from  COVID-19 increased by 1,196.

As of Wednesday afternoon, for Hawaii:

The State had 10,123 cumulative cases of COVID-19

The State had least 6,312 active cases of COVID-19

The Big Island had 533 cumulative cases of COVID-19

The Big Island had at least 286 active cases of COVID-19

The State was reporting 91 deaths

The Big Island has suffered 11 deaths, 10 of whom were residents at the Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home.  Only 3 are so far included in the State count.
