Testing and food today on Big Island

Testing:

There is free, drive-through COVID-19 testing today at Pahoa District Park from 8 a.m. until noon.

Be sure to wear a face covering and maintain social distancing.

County Mayor Harry Kim says testing is an important means to identify positive cases as early as possible, and in this way to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.   Around 40% of the people with COVID-19 have no symptoms, so even if you have no symptoms–get tested!

Food:

Hawaii Island Food Basket will distribute food today at Waikoloa’s Kamakoa Nui Skate Park today starting at 10 a.m.  Those who need food should drive in, and have room in your trunk or back seat where National Guard or other volunteers can place the food bags/boxes.
