State has 78 new COVID–Big Island has only 1

The State Department of Health is reporting 78 new cases of COVID-19 in the state.  That number reflects data from Monday, Nov. 30. The State DOH now reports number two days in arrears. The total count of COVID-19 cases for the state is now 18,044.  There have been 1,250 new cases in the past 14 days.

O’ahu has 63new cases, and there are 4 new cases on Maui, 9 in Hawaii residents who are out of state, and 1 new on Kaua’i.   There are no new cases on Lana’i nor Moloka’i.

Hawaii County has added 1 new case. The Hawaii County total is now 1,606 cases of COVID-19.  The Big Island has added 118 new cases in the past 14 days.

The state’s current positivity rate is 1.6%, and the Big Island’s is 1.4%.

The state is still reflecting 244 deaths, which include 34 of the Big Island’s 49 deaths.
