The last food distribution by the Hawaii Island Food Basket for this year is tomorrow, Wednesday, at Volcano’s Cooper Center, from 10 a.m. until noon, or as long as food supplies last.
As always, those who need food are invited to come. Volunteers will place the food in your vehicle, so have a clear space in the back seat or trunk.
There is more information about the Food Basket and how you can help, with monetary or garden produce or food donations through a local grocer, at their web site, hawaiifoodbasket.org
