On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Hilo Medical Center hosted Hawaiʻi island’s biggest COVID-19 vaccination POD to date.
Over 5,000 recipients, including high school and college students, received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
The hospital administered its 25,000th does to Noah Hegerfeldt of Hilo.
HMC’s next mass vaccination clinic will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021. An alternate kupuna-friendlly clinic is available weekdays by appointment at the Arc of Hilo.
