Hilo Community Players Holding Open Auditions for New Production

The Hilo Community Players are holding open auditions for their new production, “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet” written by Peter Bloedel.  The show is a Dr. Seuss inspired adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet.”  Performances will take place each Saturday and Sunday afternoon between the dates of July 10-25, 2021.

Auditions will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Paradise Performing Arts Center located at 29 Shipman St. #202, in Hilo.

Roles are available for those 8 years of age and up.

Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and participate in dramatic improvisation.

Face masks and social distancing will be enforced for the duration of the audition process.
