County to host a virtual meeting on state eviction moratorium and emergency rental assistance program tonight

On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, the County of Hawaiʻi and Hawaiʻi Community Lending announced that they will be hosting a virtual meeting with community members, landlords, and property managers to provide updates on the State’s eviction moratorium and the Hawaiʻi County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) from 5pm to 6pm.

Interested parties may attend the meeting by using this Zoom meeting link.

In a press release Hawaiʻi County Mayor Mitch Roth said, “ensuring that our community has the resources necessary to keep the roofs over our heads as we rebound from this pandemic is essential to our island’s recovery.  By joining in on this conversation and sharing the resources and information presented with your friends and family, you can help us do just that. Whether you’re struggling to make ends meet or know someone who is, please remember that we are all in this together, and together, we are stronger.”
