Interagency Warrant Sweep Results in 6 Arrests

The Hawai‘i County Police Department and Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) conducted an interagency warrant sweep in Puna on Wednesday, April 27 resulting in the arrest of six wanted individuals for a total of 10 outstanding warrants.
The warrants were for contempt of court, violating conditions of bail, and parole revocation. In addition to being arrested for an outstanding warrant.
The individuals arrested are all Puna residents and include 52-year-old Keone Manoa, 44-year-old Aaron Braatz, 42-year-old Levon Kahee, 22-year-old Kawai Kahee, 44-year-old Thomas Manago, and 26-year-old Sateki Nisa.  Nisa was also arrested for unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, (auto theft), and a vehicle was recovered that had been reported stolen from a burglary incident.
Police ask anyone with any information relative to the whereabouts of other wanted fugitives to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
