The Department of Public Works Engineering Division is closing the Waipiʻo Valley Access Road to allow for land surveying and site investigations to support the design of the geotechnical mitigation and road reconstruction efforts.
The closures are scheduled from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30.
All residents and farmers requiring access to/from the Valley should plan accordingly. Additional work may continue from Wednesday, January 4 through Friday, January 6, 2023. As a result, workers will be present; however, no road closures are anticipated at this time.
