Family Offers Reward in Missing Elderly Man Case

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for public assistance in locating 76-year-old William Romeo Bishop Sr. He was reportedly last seen near his home in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Kea’au on January 22, 2023,  His family is now offering a cash reward for information that may lead to his whereabouts.
 
Bishop is described as Caucasian with a light complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes. He may be operating a silver 2019 Toyota Corolla bearing Hawai‘i license plates ZJX 285.
 
Police ask anyone who may have information on Bishop’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311, or Detective Scotty Aloy of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2381 or via email at Scotty.Aloy@hawaiicounty.gov.
