A local Hawaiian, who wishes to remain anonymous, won a hefty slots jackpot at the California Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas earlier this week.
The winner was playing IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots when she placed a $1.75 bet. After the player triggered a bonus event, the Wheel of Fortune pointer landed on a progressive jackpot of $891,775.72.
This marks the second major Wheel of Fortune slots jackpot at The Cal this summer, following a $1.5 million payout won by another Hawaiian visitor in June.
