Police Identify Deceased Male Recovered From Waters Of Boiling Pots

Hawai‘i Island police have identified the deceased male who was recovered from the waters of Boiling Pots in Hilo, as 42-year-old Stanley Walker II, of Pensacola, Florida.

During a recent autopsy, the forensic pathologist determined that Walker’s cause of death was drowning. The investigation remains continuing pending the results of the toxicology report.

After Hawai‘i County Fire Department rescue personnel located and extricated Walker’s body from below the surface of one of the pools of Boiling Pots, he was transported to the Hilo Benioff Medical Center for pronouncement of death.
