Scheduled maintenance work at the Scale House in Hilo will take place today.
During the work, which is expected to be completed by end of day, technicians will be on-site to conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and certifications of both the inbound and outbound scales.
Temporary delays may occur for users accessing the East Hawaiʻi Reload Facility and the East Hawaiʻi Organics Facility, which share the use of the scales.
The public is asked to follow all posted signage and exercise caution in the area.
