Last month, Hawaiʻi Island celebrated its first-ever #VibeHI Day, organized by Vibrant Hawaiʻi, with 150 community-led projects that reached over 7,000 people.
The day was filled with acts of aloha which included a clothing swap in Kona, a produce giveaway in Pepeʻekeo, a community clean-up in Kohala and other efforts like filling potholes, sewing blankets for kupuna and sharing emergency supplies.
The event marked the sixth anniversary of Vibrant Hawaiʻi.
