HOPE Services Hawai‘i recently welcomed close to 100 people experiencing homelessness to its West Hawai‘i campus for its Annual Homeless Luncheon.
During the event, which took place at the Friendly Place Campus, guests enjoyed a restaurant-quality lunch served to the sounds of live music. Beyond the meal, the luncheon provided a wide array of vital services, including free haircuts, mobile showers, and connection to medical and social service providers.
A key feature was the event’s free boutique, where participants browsed and chose clothing, shoes, and other essential items.
The event highlighted HOPE Services Hawai‘i’s mission to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring on Hawai’i Island.
