Yesterday, Governor Green delivered the final State of the State Address of his first term, doubling down on his values-driven plan to lower the cost of living, build housing at a historic scale, reduce homelessness, strengthen healthcare and protect Hawaiʻi’s environment.
The address highlighted three years of progress — from tax cuts and housing production to healthcare expansion and Maui recovery.
Key initiatives and accomplishments highlighted in the address included lowering the cost of living, building housing, addressing homelessness with a healthcare approach, employment, protecting the environment, strengthening healthcare and Maui’s recovery.
The Governor closed the address with a reaffirmation of Hawaiʻi’s core values — aloha, ʻohana and kuleana.
