Registration for Kaukau 4 Keiki Opens This Month

Online registration for Kaukau 4 Keiki, the island’s largest community-based summer meal program, will open at 6am on February 23  and close on March 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Since 2021, Kaukau 4 Keiki has provided thousands of healthy, locally sourced meals to keiki across Hawaiʻi County by partnering with trusted community organizations, churches, and neighborhood distribution sites.

Meals are distributed close to home, reducing travel burdens for ʻohana while supporting local producers and community-led solutions.

Children ages 18 and under, and individuals age 19 and over who are enrolled in a school program for persons with disabilities, are eligible to participate. Participants may not be enrolled in another USDA summer meal program, such as DOE Summer Meals.

Families may register online beginning Monday, February 23 at 6:00 a.m. at www.vibranthawaii.org/kaukau4keiki. One application must be submitted per child. A valid cell phone number and residential zip code are required to complete the application. Registration IS NOT an indication that your child is confirmed to participate.
