Island Conversations #35–Ironman Triathlon, with Race Director Diana Bertsch

Ironman Triathlon World Championship comes to Kona, on the West side of the Big Island, on Saturday, October 12.  It’s a huge event for the island, and Island Conversations host Sherry Bracken talks with Race Director and Ironman VP Diana Bertsch to get the scoops on the race.  Ali’i Drive downtown will close north of Gertrude’s Jazz Bar on Thursday morning, Oct. 10, at 7:30 a.m., and the race itself will close roads up to Hawi as 2500 athletes compete.
