The Hawaii County budget slated to take effect July 1, 2019, is proposed by Mayor Harry Kim at $583 million.  County Council members Tim Richards (Kohala) and Sue Lee Loy (Hilo, Keaukaha, Kea’au) talk about the Council’s concerns about their ability to really get to the best budget possible.
